How I Became A Successful Food Vlogger
On my journey to self-love, I've experienced some painful lessons, but valuable lessons they were, and I value them greatly. Cooking, dining, taste-testing new recipes, and sharing my food adventures with all my subscribers have given me a new love. So, I wanted to put a selected few of my favorite dishes in this collection as a gift to you. All the recipes and photographs are done by me.
I want to let you know that there is nothing you cannot do. Don't count yourself out. It is a bit ironic that I would author a "recipe" or "cook" book which is coming soon, or have my own food blog because I am not a Cook per se.
When I am in the kitchen, it is more like an adventure and less about measurements and cooking skills. I have fun doing it because it makes me very happy. The outcomes are nothing short of miraculous to me. Ha ha!

Why I Call It Tasty Food Adventures
I didn’t always feel confident in the kitchen.
Growing up, I remember people saying I cooked “cuisine food.”
It wasn’t meant to hurt—but it wasn’t exactly praise either.
It usually meant my food didn’t quite match what was expected, especially when it came to the local cultural meals I should have known how to prepare.
And for a while, that stayed with me.
Later on, I went through a phase where I started dieting, and somewhere in that process, my relationship with food changed. It became restrictive. Controlled. Less about enjoyment and more about rules.
Food stopped feeling like something I could explore…
and started feeling like something I had to manage.
A Shift in Perspective
Everything started to change when I discovered ASMR food content—especially creators like SAS-ASMR, who inspired me to look at food differently.
Food didn’t have to be perfect.
It didn’t have to follow a strict standard.
It could be creative. Unexpected. Enjoyable.
That’s when I started my YouTube journey with ASMR food videos—just exploring, combining, and experiencing food in a way that felt calm and natural to me.
Why “Adventures”?
When I created Tasty Food Adventures, the name wasn’t random.
It was intentional.
Because for me, food isn’t just about cooking a full meal or getting everything “right.”
Even if it’s something simple—
a piece of fruit,
a sweet treat,
a cup of tea—
I still see it as an experience.
An adventure.
Calling it an adventure changed everything.
It reminded me that food is something to:
-
explore
-
enjoy
-
be curious about
Not something to feel boxed into or restricted by.
Relearning Food, One Moment at a Time
Today, my focus is simple:
-
Eating
-
Cooking
-
Food hauls
And I treat each one like its own moment.
Not pressure.
Not perfection.
Just presence.
Because every bite can be something more—
if you allow it to be.
What Tasty Food Adventures Really Means
It means giving yourself permission to enjoy food again.
To try things.
To mix things.
To slow down and experience what you’re eating.
It means remembering that food isn’t something you’re trapped into…
it’s something you can step into.
One meal.
One bite.
One adventure at a time.
